Development of digital twin of high frequency generator with self-excitation in Simulink

Abstract: The article presents the numerical simulation results of the high frequency generator (electron tube type) with self-excitation in the Simulink. The main structural element of this generator is an electron tube GU-66A. Digitization characteristics of the electron tube is made. A mathematical model of the HF generator, taking into account the anode and grid characteristics of GU-66A according to the passport data of the product, has been developed. The parameters of the HF generator circuit are determined. A pl… Show more

“…Applying the procedures given in [6,[21][22][23][24][25][26], the other parameters of the HF generator are calculated and the details will be given for a specific designed generator with a power of 20 kW intended for drying 4 m 3 of wood as it shown in Table 1. Calculation of the parameters of the regime [23][24][25][26]:…”

“…In addition, digital twins have been applied to wind turbines for fault prediction [12] and an offshore wind turbine with an output prediction model [13]. In [14], a digital twin high-frequency generator with self-excitation was developed using MATLAB 2021/Simulink. However, most of the aforementioned research studies only provide conceptual designs or algorithms without detailed hardware and software descriptions and they lack physical-twin twinning.…”
