Development of Full-Cycle Utilization of Chlorella sorokiniana Microalgae Biomass for Environmental and Food Purposes

Abstract: The application of microalgae biomass of Chlorella sorokiniana as environmentally friendly biosorbents for removing potentially toxic elements (PTE) from water and as a source of biofuel has been thoroughly studied. In this paper, we investigate its physicochemical properties infrared spectroscopy (IR spectra), microstructure, adsorption properties); we have managed to isolate the lipid complex, which amounted to 20% of dry biomass. Studies of the lipid complex showed that 80.02% of lipids are unsaturated fatt… Show more

“…The structure of DPSS consumers differs significantly in terms of power, quantity and operating modes; also, the load of complex will inevitably change in a significant range, both during the day and according to the seasons. It is desirable to ensure the loading of power plants in the range from 40 to 80% of the nominal load [10,11]. Loading above these limits leads to a decrease in the resource of the gas engine; at low loads, the specific fuel consumption increases significantly.…”

“…Currently, the problems of sustainable development of economic systems at the level of enterprises, regions, individual industries and the national economy as a whole are the subject of scientific research [1][2][3][4][5]. The modern conditions are characterized by acceleration the process of change and increasing uncertainty, both within economic systems and in the external environment, so solving problems of sustainable development are highly relevant.…”
