Abstract: A case of idiopathic eruptive macular pigmentation in a child demonstrates a variant of skin hyperpigmentation of uncertain etiology. We described an 11-year-old boy with light brown spots in the torso and limbs that developed against the background of normal skin without an established provoking factor. On examination, it was found that the disease had developed within one year.
