Abstract:Introduction: Seasonal influenza viruses infect 5-15% of the human population each year, resulting in approximately 500,000 deaths worldwide. Influenza A viruses have two glycoproteins anchored on the viral envelope: haemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA).
