Development of IoT-based mhealth framework for various cases of heart disease patients

Abstract: A newly distributed fault-tolerant mHealth framework-based Internet of things (IoT) is proposed in this study to resolve the essential problems of healthcare service provision during the occurrence of frequent failures in a telemedicine architecture. Two models are presented to support the telehealth development of chronic heart disease (CHD) in a distant environment. In model-1, a new local multisensor fusion triage algorithm known as three-level localisation triage (3LLT) is proposed. In 3LLT, a group of het… Show more

“…In addition, a checklist benchmarking procedure similar to other published studies [ 24 , 25 ], is used to evaluate and compare our study results with the relevant key studies in the field. In such a process, it is important to provide checklist benchmarking that contains comparison points for evaluation of the currently presented results according to various characteristics.…”

“…In terms of application, intelligent teaching and learning activities appeared earlier in some higher education institutions in the United States, such as Carnegie Mellon University Saddleback College, California, Pennsylvania State University, Austin Peay State University, and so on. Students in these universities can use smart terminals to carry out learning activities anytime and anywhere [ 4 ]. In a smart teaching IoT environment, student behavior and data in the smart campus environment are stored in the IoT cloud, and teachers, course managers, or research scholars, for example, can directly or indirectly access the data from the cloud to develop smart, personalized teaching and learning activities for students [ 5 ].…”

“…ElSaadany et al [19] presented a diagnostic scheme utilizing IoT with a low energy Bluetooth communication module and multiple sensors that gathered data of heart rates along with body temperature. Other such wearable sensors systems and IoT-based healthcare assistive systems for monitoring cardiac health were also designed in multiple works [20], [21], [22]. Different studies analyzed PCG signals and different AI-based techniques were used to develop some cardiac health screening systems [23], [24], [25].…”
