Development of Physical Education Learning Outcomes Assessment Instruments for Volleyball Materials Based on Game Performance Assessment Instrument

Abstract: Study purpose. The basic assumption of this development is that there is no Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) based on physical education (PE) learning outcome assessment, so researchers are trying to develop the instrument. The teacher has not used the GPAI instrument in assessing the PE learning outcomes for volleyball material. The purpose of the study was to develop a valid and reliable assessment of PE learning outcomes for volleyball based on GPAI. Materials and methods. This type of research… Show more

“…In addition, the advantages of the ADDIE model can be revised at every stage. The ADDIE model is effective in developing exercise methods in sports science and physical education (Hartati et al, 2022;Yachsie et al, 2023;Dewanti et al, 2023;Fizi et al, 2023;Sepdanius et al, 2024) The first stage in ADDIE is Analysis, focusing on problems and potential through observation and interviews with athletes and coaches. The second stage is Design, focusing on the initial development of the PETTLEP Imagery training model.…”

“…Various studies have developed valid and reliable assessment instruments to measure volleyball learning outcomes in PE classes. One study developed a game performance assessment instrument (GPAI) based on PE learning outcomes for volleyball, which was found to be valid and reliable [16]. Another study used the modified volleyball information system application to assess students' performance in volleyball skills, proving that the application can be used as an alternative assessment tool for teachers [17].…”

“…According to the regulations, volleyball games start with a service technique. This method can be accepted by a forearm pass technique (forearm pass) or overhead passing technique (overhead pass), fed by forearm pass or overhead pass techniques, followed by a punch (technic spike), and finally a block (technic block) (Dewanti et al, 2023). According to Nasrulloh, players in this game must jump vertically while spiking and blocking to make contact with the ball from a height of their choosing (Nasrulloh et al, 2021).…”
