Abstract:A resonating tubular oscillating linear alternator and engine (OLEA) provides an alternative for electric power generation to conventional rotary alternator and engine systems. An OLEA allows direct conversion of linear reciprocating motion provided by a free piston internal combustion engine to electricity.
