Development of road infrastructure safety management system according to updates of EU Directive 96/2008/EC

Abstract: The traditional approach to the analysis of traffic accidents has mostly involved identifying omissions in vehicles and drivers, which led to the occurrence of a traffic accident. However, more recent EU directives dealing with this area emphasize infrastructure failures that may be the real cause of the accident.
