“…The standard alumina-based generator is eluted with saline at a slow flow-rate of typically 1–2 mL/min., with the volume based on the size of the generator (i.e., “void volume”) to insure complete removal of the 188 Re bolus. Some institutions have instituted the use of semi- or totally-automated elution systems (4648).
