Development of the Surgical Patient safety Observation Tool (SPOT)

Abstract: BackgroundA Surgical Patient safety Observation Tool (SPOT) was developed and tested in a multicentre observational pilot study. SIPPS is complementary to the previously evaluated SPOT, which shows the results of observable patient safety topics.
