Development of USN/RFID Tag for u-Health

Abstract

This paper proposed Intelligent and wireless USN/RFID module system that overcomes disadvantage of existing REID system with no sensing module and wire communication The proposed USN/RFID system was designed and fabricated. After fabricating new system, we analyzed the characteristics of USN/REID module.After design VCO block that is point circuit to develop next generation system one chip of RE;ID system, we carried out simulation and verified the validity. This paper showed that VCO system was useful in wireless network tmodule. USN/RFID Reader module shows superior result that validity awareness distance corresponds to 3GM in the case of USN and to 5M in RFID Reader's case and 900MHz of commercial frequency does practical use enoughly in range of high frequency.Wide-band network technology and technology fusion is becoming enhanced since ubiquitous computing environment has recently been r, corresponding adapted not only to information and communication field but also to many different fields of industries. solutions based on ubiquitous sensor network (USN) under ubiquitous environment are developed and radio frequency identification (RFID) is used in all kinds of products and applications to lead to the era of USN [1][2][3].In addition, while communication between a tag and a reader is wireless, servers are generally connected by thick cables (RS-232, RS-422, . It is hard to apply to systems including many networks due to high cost and low efficiency [4, 5]. This paper proposed USN/RFID system of which a reader has sensing capability and of which a module has wireless networks between servers. In addition, we designed basic circuits consisting of a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) block which allows modules in one-chip in an attempt to develop system-on-chip (SoC) of USN/RFID modules. 2.
