Development of wide-area traffic information system

Abstract

In order to offer integrated traffic information to car drivers in aide area, the Wide-Area Traffic Information Smtem has been developed and for the b t r o w l i t a n Police Department. The system features (I) Integrated traffic informtion display on the Metropolitan Expressway, highways, and arterial roads,(2) high-speeddrawing by means of a digital map, and (3) a beautiful and e a s y -t o w r a t e screen display through the application of graphical user interface (CUI).
