Development Trends of Low-Carbon Technologies of Chinese Steel Industry to Achieve Carbon Peaking and Neutrality Goals

Abstract

The specific CO2 emissions per tonne of steel have been significantly reduced in Chinese steel industry. The effects of Chinese steel industry on the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals were analyzed in this paper. A number of low-carbon solutions are proposed for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals in order to achieve the development targets.
