The paper considers innovative solutions for irrigation in the areas of the on-farm irrigation network, carried out through the territorial division of a network of permanent irrigation canals into separate irrigated areas from each other. Some basic aspects of automation of the on-farm irrigation network are discussed, with relevant questions - what should be the accounting of irrigation water, and how should be carried out water intake and distribution aimed at water aimed at goals and objectives for their use on the irrigation network for drip and rain irrigation. They stem from the need to introduce automated means of automated systems and IT technologies on rural irrigation facilities for the near and far prospects in the context of global and regional climate change, reducing own and incoming water volumes. The work characterizes the economic and social effects of the work carried out. From this point of view, the work is characterized by analyzes the relationship of the farmer with the association of water users, based on instrumental monitoring and digital documented reports for the water consumed.
