Dexmedetomidine for Every Cesarean Delivery … Maybe Not?

Abstract: (Can J Anesth/J Can Anesth. 2019;66:751–754) Perioperative shivering is a commonly observed clinical problem for women undergoing cesarean delivery (CD). The median incidence of shivering in patients having a CD with epidural or spinal anesthesia is estimated to be 52%.
