Dexmedetomidine provides better hemodynamic stability compared to clonidine in spine surgery

Abstract: Introduction: Spine surgery presents a number of challenges to the anesthesiologist. The α 2 adrenergic agonist drugs are commonly used in such cases to provide hemodynamic and sympathoadrenal stability.
