Di-tert-butyltin(IV)–hydroxide–iodide, t Bu2Sn(OH)I, the last missing member in the series of pure di-tert-butyltin(IV)–hydroxide–halides

Abstract: The crystal structure of di-tert-butylhydroxidoiodidotin(IV), [Sn(C4H9)2I(OH)] or t Bu2Sn(OH)I, consists of dimeric, centrosymmetric molecules exhibiting the typical structural features of diorganotin(IV)-hydroxide-halides, R 2Sn(OH)Hal.
