However, we have found (Gray, Borsey, Fraser, Kurtz, Rainbow, Smith, Duncan and Clarke 1981) that a twice daily insulin regime is accompanied by lower HbAl levels than a once daily regime, and should, therefore, be recommended for all such patients.
