Diagnosis and treatment of hepatic encephalopathy

Abstract: Background. Hepatic encephalopathy (HE) is a neuropsychiatric complication of liver cirrhosis which symptoms may vary from imperceptible to severe ones. In recent years, there have been some changes of fundamental hepatic encephalopathy pathogenesis and treatment.
