This original research report provides information to the public about the importance of early detection, the use of hearing technology and the advantages of Auditory Verbal Therapy in delayed speech children with sensorineural hearing loss, where this therapy makes it easier for children to achieve language development on par with other children their age.2. Auditory Verbal Therapy as part of the process of learning to speak and hear deaf children is still quite new and unfamiliar among the community, so based on this study it can be seen that AVT has a positive impact on child development. AbstractSpeech delay with sensorineural hearing loss is a delay in a child's speech process compared to normal children of the same age, mostly caused by hearing loss. It can give may affect the development of language and social independence of children. Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) as early intervention maximizes the use of residual hearing with hearing aids or a cochlear implant for sound detection. Therapy that is routinely and periodically conducted may affect language development to support children's independence. This study aims to analyze differences in the development of language and social independence of children with delayed speech and sensorineural hearing loss based on the age of early intervention and duration of auditory verbal therapy. This study used an analytical-observational study design with a cross-sectional approach. The samples were obtained by total sampling from all children who underwent routine AVT once a week at the Aurica Surabaya Foundation, with a total sample of 29 children. The instrument used Developmental Pre-Screening Questionnaire. Method of data analysis was bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square (p-value) proportions different test using SPSS . The results regarding language development based on the age of early intervention and the duration of AVT obtained p = value 0.013 (p < 0.05) and p = 0.019 (p < 0.05), while the results of the chi-square test analysis of the development of social independence based on the age of early intervention and duration of AVT obtained p value = 0.229 (p > 0.05) and p-value = 0.111 (p > 0.05). In conclusion, there was a difference between language development based on the age of early intervention and the duration of AVT, but no difference was found between the development of social independence based on the age of early intervention and the duration of AVT.

Abstract. Hypertension is a complex disease because it can damage many organ systems. The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is still increasing until now. The increase in cases is due to hypertension being a multifactorial disease. The risk factors for hypertension are classified as modifiable and non-modifiable. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying the description of the characteristics of hypertensive patients at the Kalipucang Health Center. This study used an analytic observational method with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique is consecutive sampling. Patient data was taken from the Kalipucang Health Center medical records. Obtained data on hypertension patients as many as 129 patients. The results showed that the majority of hypertension patients at the Kalipucang Health Center were aged ≥60 (68.2%), women (93.8%), obesity 1 (35.7%), and stage 1 hypertension (46.5%). It was concluded that the characteristics of hypertension patients at the Kalipucang Health Center were ≥60 years old, female, obese 1, and had stage 1 hypertension. Abstrak. Hipertensi adalah penyakit yang bersifat kompleks karena dapat merusak banyak sistem organ. Sampai saat ini prevalensi kejadian hipertensi di Indonesia masih terus meningkat. Peningkatan kasus disebabkan karena hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang bersifat multifaktorial. Faktor risiko hipertensi dibedakan menjadi dapat dimodifikasi dan tidak dapat dimodifikasi. Oleh karena itu peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti tentang gambaran karakteristik pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Kalipucang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan consecutive sampling. Data pasien diambil dari data rekam medis di Puskesmas Kalipucang sehingga diperoleh data pasien hipertensi sebanyak 129 pasien. Hasil menunjukan bahwa mayoritas pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Kalipucang berusia ≥60 (68,2%), Wanita (93,8%), Obesitas 1 (35,7%), dan hipertensi stage 1 (46,5%). Disimpulkan bahwa gambaran karakteristik pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Kalipucang adalah berusia ≥60, wanita, obesitas 1, dan memiliki hipertensi stage 1.

Penyakit yang sering dijumpai pada golongan lansia yang disebabkan karena kemunduran fungsi kerja pembuluh darah yaitu salah satunya hipertensi atau tekanan darah tinggi. Tujuan penelitian menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan pada lansia dengan hipertensi secara komprehensif di Panti Griya Lansia Janati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan observasi dan deksriptif, objek 3 lansia dengan hipertensi, serta menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, dokumentasi dan menggunakan analisis deksriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah evaluasi dari tindakan keperawatan yang sudah dilakukan Klien 1, Klien 2 dan Klien 3 mengetahui mengenai memiliki tekananan darah tinggi, belum dapat membatasi makanan yang tinggi garam, klien dapat mengatasi nyeri dan ansietas dengan teknik relaksasi nafas dalam serta klien mengetahui cara melakukan ROM Aktif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah nyeri akut dan gangguan mobilitas fisik pada Klien 1, Klien 2 dan Klien 3 menurun, serta pada Klien 1 dan Klien 3 dengan ansietas menurun.
