Abstract: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the commonest cancers worldwide, particularly in the developing countries HCC occurs predominantly in patients with underlying chronic liver disease and cirrhosis, especially due to chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) and hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection.
