Diagnosis of tuberculous lymphadenitis using fine needle aspiration biopsy

Abstract: Background:  Tuberculous lymphadenitis is the commonest form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis. However, the optimal approach to diagnosis, employing biopsy by either fine needle aspiration (FNA) or surgical excision, remains uncertain.
