Diagnosis of unicuspid aortic valve after loss of consciousness during cesarean section: a case report

Abstract: Loss of consciousness during delivery by cesarean section under spinal anesthesia is a rare but potentially serious complication. We report a case of a pregnant woman with unicuspid aortic valve, which was incidentally diagnosed during an aortic valve replacement after transient loss of consciousness during cesarean section.
