Given that data from screening mammography and clinical examination are often reported jointly, this should be distinguished from the proportion of “mammography-only” detected ipsilateral BCs, which is usually lower than the above-reported range, typically in the range of 10%-51% [ 6 , 21 , 22 , 25 , 27 - 34 ].
