Abstract:Dr. Skolka et al. 1 have presented the results of their retrospective study on the role of electrodiagnostic (EDX) testing versus genetic testing and muscle biopsy in patients with unprovoked rhabdomyolysis to identify a potentially underlying myopathy. They searched the EDX database at the Department of Neurology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester for patients with unprovoked rhabdomyolysis who underwent EDX testing between January 2012 and January 2022.
