Diagnóstico Palinoflorístico Do Poço 2-JNS-01pe, Cretáceo Inferior, Bacia Do Jatobá, Nordeste Do Brasil

Abstract

A caracterização da palinoflora das rochas correlatas a Formação Crato na Bacia do Jatobá, de idade Aptiano - Albiano Inferior, foi realizada através da análise de associações palinoflorísticas, recuperadas do testemunho 2-JSN-01-PE, perfurado na localidade de Serra Negra, Nordeste do Brasil. As evidências palinológicas sugerem um paleoambiente dominado por uma sedimentação de origem continental lacustre, sob clima quente, demonstrando uma variação de condições ambientais de árido a semiárido, ao longo do testemunho. A composição palinoflorística identificada enquadra-se àquelas observadas nas bacias do nordeste brasileiro e insere-se nas características das associações palinoflorísticas, pertencentes a província microflorística da província a “Cretáceo Inferior Pré-Albiana a Dicheiropollis etruscus/Afropollis” Herngreen et al. (1996).
