Abstract:Diastematomyelia is a form of spinal dysraphism characterised by a cleft in the spinal cord. This abnormality may be diagnosed at first by the obstetric intrauterine US and is confirmed by prenatal MRI which also provides complementary information about the fetal nervous system.
