Abstract:A total of 716 strains of the following bacterial species have been tested for their susceptibility to gentamicin: 114 Pseudomonas pyocyanea, 100 Escherichia coli, 100 Proteus mirabilis, 100 Klebsiella pneumoniae, 100 Staphylococcus aureus, 59 Proteus morganii, 45 Proteus vulgaris, 39 Serratia marcescens, 29 Salmonella of the Enteritis group, 17 Salmonella typhi, 7 Salmonella paratyphi B, 6 Proteus rettgeri.
