Abstract: Men that undergo an early detection investigation should be informed of the advantages and disadvantages as well as of the therapeutic consequences. In this study the quality of information was checked using the state of scientific knowledge of the patients.An informative consultation was carried out before the early detection investigation using a clarification brochure and an examination by a urologist.
