Die Rolle von mikro-RNAs während der B-Zell-Entwicklung
Jürgen Wittmann
Abstract:B cell development in vertebrates is a complex process, involving numerous differentiation stages at many anatomical locations. Long-known regulators of B cell gene expression include transcription factor networks, cytokines, and cell surface receptors. In recent decades, small non-coding microRNAs (miRNAs) have been shown to exert an additional layer of control over gene expression and have been demonstrated to act as critical gatekeepers at various checkpoints during the tightly regulated B cell development.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
