Dietary antioxidant seleno-L-methionine protects macrophages infected with Burkholderia thailandensis

Abstract: Burkholderia pseudomallei is a facultative intracellular pathogen and the causative agent of melioidosis, a potentially life-threatening disease endemic in Southeast Asia and Northern Australia.
