Responses of the hepatic lipogenic enzymes, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PDH), 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase (6PGDH), and malic enzyme (ME) to starvation refeeding and diet shifting were determined in lean and obese female Zucker rats.
