Dietary Lutein Reduces Ultraviolet Radiation-Induced Inflammation and Immunosuppression

Abstract: Ultraviolet radiation (UVR) promotes skin cancer development by mutagenic, immunosuppressive, and oxidative-stress-inducing mechanisms; however, certain antioxidants may counteract and prevent UVR-induced photodamage.
