“…Olive flounder ( Paralichthys olivaceus ) is a highly demanded and potential aquaculture fish species in East Asia, especially in Japan, Rep. of Korea, and China. In Rep. of Korea in 2005, olive flounder farms were affected by huge mortality in the growing stage due to the high density culture of fish along with water quality deterioration and disease outbreaks [ 38 ]. In particular, the reasons for the great reduction of production capacity of olive founder farms were found to be due to the viral and bacterial infections in fish between 2009 and 2017 [ 18 ].…”
