Abstract:For a long time there is a problem of separation of hypoxia (asphyxia) and birth trauma. To resolve it, it is necessary to recognize this type of lesion as “compression hypoxia” and share it with a birth trauma. Morphological signs of differences between compression hypoxia and birth trauma, two forms of lesions caused by head compression, are given.
