Different Node Deployments in a Square Area Grid of Wireless Sensor Network and Optimal Number of Relays

Abstract: Wireless sensor networks deployment is an important issue to be considered when trying to cover an area with sensors, our work focuses on the deployment of a grid network for larger number of sensor nodes from 36 nodes up to 100 nodes. We study different cases of distances between source an destination, the result showed the diagonal path is the best path where least energy consumption are consumed.
