“…The use of precise data on a(O) and P(O) obtained at LNPI [1,2] ~S,GeV 560 MeV which is in agreement with the predictions of the PSA [21,24]. At energies lower than 350MeV a quantitative agreement is observed with the PSA solution [6] for 7r+p scattering (Fig.…”

“…The results of the LNPI PSA are compared in Figs. 1 and 2 with the results of the latest phase-shift analyzes [6,21,24] that do not utilize the data on P(O) obtained in LNPI [2,3]. The inverse solutions of the LNPI PSA are assigned asterisks.…”

“…The procedures for interpolation of cross sections and polarizations as well as for excluding unreliable experimental points were performed automatically on the basis of the LNPI bank of data on nN scattering. In the PSA we made use of all the data on a(O) and P(O) obtained in LNPI [1,2] as well as of the results published in [11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19]. In Ref.…”

“…Within the framework of this program at the LNPI the measurements of the differential cross sections a+(O) [-1] and of the polarization parameters P_+(O) [2,3] in ~-+p scattering have been carried out. Before the investigations were initiated, and during accumulation of experimental data at the LNPI, phase-shift analyses (PSA) of ~N scattering were performed [-4, 5].…”
An energy-independent phase-shift analysis of ~+ p-scattering has been carried out at 16 energies in the region 194 600MeV. The new data on elastic polarization, obtained in LNPI up to 1983, were included.

“…system. The squares show the results for s = 1.251 GeV 2 [21], the triangles for 1.474 [22] and the circles for 1.711 [23] . The solid, dashed and dotted lines show our results calculated with the resonance model.…”
The ∆-excitation in pd annihilation at rest was studied. The annihilation amplitude from the statistical model and the πN amplitude from the resonance model were adopted in our calculations. We analyze the invariant mass of the π + p and π − p systems selecting the protons with momenta above 400 MeV/c and with respect to the different final reaction channels. Our model reproduces reasonably the experimental data.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
