“…In fact, it has been reported by several groups that ECG has better anti-cancer effects. 6,28 In summary, our results demonstrate that ECG can inhibit β-catenin signaling and cyclin D1 expression, leading to suppression of cell growth and induction of apoptosis in HNSCC. Therefore, ECG has potential use as a chemopreventive agent in HNSCC, and the future study of its clinical use may be worthwhile.…”
