Differential lipid binding of vinculin isoforms promotes quasi-equivalent dimerization

Abstract: The main cause of death globally remains debilitating heart conditions, such as dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), which are often due to mutations of specific components of adhesion complexes.
