Abstract:Differential reinforcement of low rates (DRL) is a differential reinforcement variation used to reduce response rates of but not extinguish, a behavior. This review summarizes the applied literature on DRL variations used with children. Reviewed studies included DRL procedures that targeted on challenging behavior.
