Differentiation between acute macular neuroretinopathy and paracentral acute middle maculopathy in elderly persons: two case reports

Abstract: Background We report one case of rare acute macular neuroretinopathy (AMN) in an elderly patient with hypertension and one case of common paracentral acute middle maculopathy (PAMM) in a patient with diabetes mellitus to illustrate the difference between the two diseases.
