Differentiation ofBorrelia burgdorferi sensu lato species by temperature gradient gel electrophoresis

Abstract: Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato is a multispecies complex of pathogenic spirochetes, causing Lyme borreliosis. Due to clinical, epidemiological, and taxonomical implications, there is a need for identification of isolated Borrelia strains.
