Abstract:Introduction: There are many patients with cochlear implants (CIs) who need to undergo an MRI examination. Due to recent developments in science and medicine a CI is no longer a contraindication for an MRI.
Material and methods:The review is based on scientific publications found in Google Scholar and PubMed databases.
