Diffuse astrocytoma and the diagnostic dilemma of an unusual phenotype: A case report

Abstract: Diffuse astrocytoma is an infiltrating type of glioma (World Health Organization grade II), which even with histopathology, is difficult to diagnose. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the cornerstone for diagnoses and follow-up of brain gliomas.
