Digital historical and cultural heritage: on the issue of using artificial intelligence

Abstract:. The article raises the question of the relevance and feasibility of using artificial intelligence technologies for the preservation, updating and representation of objects of historical and cultural heritage in digital formats. It is noted that the most promising areas of artificial intelligence are the processing, analysis and interpretation of textual and visual information, the processing, as well as the generation of objects in immersion format, including reconstruction and restoration.
