This publication is a theoretical work which aims at exploring the possibilities of using digital tools to manage the economic security of a depressed region. To achieve the stated aim, the following methods were used: analysis, synthesis, abstraction, systematization and structuring of information. We also used integrated, comparative, functional and cause-and-effect methods. The object of this publication is a depressed region. The subject of the study is digital tools that can be used to manage economic security at the regional level. The study showed that one of the key threats to the economic security of a depressed region is the consistently low values of indicators of social and economic development. It was determined that the use of digital tools can improve the condition of a depressed region in the following areas: the formation of high-quality human capital; development of remote employment in a depressed region; creation of new jobs in a depressed region; digitalization of clusters to increase the competitiveness of companies in a depressed region; creation of a digital ecosystem for managing the economic security of a depressed region.

The integrated development of the modern urban environment, in accordance with the trend towards digitalization of socio-economic relations, is closely related to the concept of a digital twin. The use of this concept long before its final formation was reflected in the field of economic modeling, however, the current level of development of information technologies makes it possible to widely apply the achievements of science in practice, particularly in the field of urban management by creating digital twins of settlements. Despite the significant interest in the topic of digital twins of cities, the impact of the city management system, which is an essential and high-powered part of the city, on the functioning of such hardware and software complexes has been poorly studied. Due to the fact that the effective interaction with the digital twin of the city is impossible without the use of modern digital innovations while performing managerial and analytical activities, which are the conditions of forming the environment of digital twins, the authors analyzed the state policy in the field of forming so-called smart cities which widely use the last achievements of digitalization, including the technology of digital twins. The purpose of the analysis is to highlight factors influencing the formation of the innovative environment of implementation both of digital twins of cities in particular and high-tech system of city economy in general. Based on the study results, the authors revealed the significant effect of regional policy of constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of informatization of state authorities and local self-government on the development of smart cities in Russia, and developed a tool for determination of the intensity of the process of introducing innovative digital labor tools into the activities of management structures.

Parallel Algorithm for Real-time Sensor Data Recovery for a Many-core Processor

Currently, in many subject areas, the processing of sensor data in real time assumes imputation of values missed due to a technical failure or a human factor. This article proposes a parallel algorithm for imputation the missing values of a streaming time series in real time for a many-core processor. The algorithm employs a set of reference time series that have a semantic relationship with the original time series. The algorithm exploits the following heuristics: if there are repeated (similar) subsequences in the reference time series, then in the time series containing the missing value, repeated subsequences occur in the same time intervals. For each reference time series, a query is defined as a subsequence of a given length ending at the moment when the value in the original time series was missed. The similarity of the subsequences with the query is determined based on the DTW (Dynamic Time Warping) measure that is of quadratic computational complexity relative to the subsequence length. The algorithm employs the lower bounding technique to discard subsequences that are obviously dissimilar to the query, without calculating DTW. The lower bounds have less complexity than DTW and are calculated in parallel. The imputed value is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the last elements of the found intervals. In computational experiments, the proposed algorithm demonstrates high imputation accuracy in comparison with analogs and performance acceptable for real-time applications.
