Drilling volumes should be increased in order to increase hydrocarbon production, but this is impossible without the usage of high-quality drilling tools made of modern structural materials. The study has to analyze the design, technological and operational methods to increase the performance of drilling tools made of various materials and has highlighted prospects of technological method applications. The scientific novelty of the study consists in the development of a new analytical model of PDC drill bit–well interaction. The developed model takes into account the drill bit manufacturing errors in the form of bit body–nipple axes misalignment on the drill bit strength. This result makes it possible to determine the permissible manufacturing errors to provide safe operation of the drill bit. It is established that there is an additional transverse force that presses the drill bit to the well wall in the rock due to manufacturing errors. It is determined that the magnitude of this clamping force can be significant. The material effect has been analyzed on additional clamping force. It is established that geometric imperfection of the drill bit causes the minimal effect for the elastic system of the pipe string, which includes a calibrator and is composed of drill pipes based on composite carbon fiber material, and the maximal effect—for steel drill pipes. Polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) drill bit and well wall contact interaction during operation in non-standard mode is considered. Non-standard stresses are determined, and the strength of the blades is estimated for different values of drilling bit manufacturing error.

The object of research relates to the field of control systems for mining and transport machines in the development of deposits of solid minerals in an open way. The problem of reducing the cost of transporting 1 ton of rock mass and increasing the efficiency of these machines is being solved. The article develops an expert system for dispatching mining vehicles with a subsystem for selecting their innovative appearance with the ability to control their operational parameters, taking into account the stochastic conditions of the developed sections of the rock mass. The mathematical model for constructing the prospective appearance of a mining and transport machine, based on its functional and economic assessment, is reduced to solving the problem of optimizing the generalized criterion of the required efficiency. As an example of private indicators of their effectiveness in operation, there is an expert analysis of the evaluation of solution options, for example, structural-kinematic and operational parameters of these machines, etc. Innovative designs of a skip body of any size of its carrying capacity of single-rope and multi-rope steeply inclined skip hoists for highly profitable mining in quarries are substantiated. unlimited values of their depth and annual productivity. In the proposed study, the values of the forces of resistance to the destruction of a section of a rock mass, obtained by analytical and experimental methods, are refined by finding the optimal Kalman coefficient, which increases the efficiency of using mining and transport machines. The proposed methods provide the creation of innovative mining and transport machines with the ability to control their operational parameters, taking into account the stochastic conditions of the developed section of the rock mass

The purpose of this paper is to propose a new methodological approach to complex assessment of coal-mining enterprises basing on the evaluation of technological schemes from the viewpoint of their susceptibility to innovations. To solve the specified problems, a complex method has been used. The method involves geometrical interpretation of a task of determining boundary parameters of technological schemes, application of criteria-based estimations for determining a level of production efficiency, and use of complex index of economic re liability. For the first time, optimality criteria for innovation management in coal industry have been proposed; they take into consideration a level of organization of innovations, organization of innovative production system, and organization of innovative production process. A complex index “internal potential of technological networks” has been developed, being one of the essential parameters for evaluating coal mine conditions. It has been identified that its formation is the result of the influence of certain factors determining the underground mining efficiency and, first of all, the coal mine property—spatial development. According to the represented concept, a policy of optimal control for maintaining the operating mine capacities is based on the evaluation of remained reserves, substantiated planning of a stoping line, and correspondence of extraction equipment to the operating conditions. It is possible to increase the concentration of production by redistributing the remained reserves and integration of mines by mining operations; that makes it possible to concentrate resources within those parts of a mine field where the effect will show its maximum. Modelling of such problems is based on a system of constraints without any requirements for providing the planned mine loading, obligatory in the past. Analysis of the indices of efficiency of coal-mining technological schemes and accounting of the developed factual system of indices have helped elaborate recommendations concerning the use of optimality criteria in the organizational tasks of assessment of the potential of technological scheme of mines. Further application of graphs and network models will allow optimizing the mining production parameters. Consequently, the carried out research has resulted in a new system as for innovation management in a mining complex.
