Abstract:To increase the red blood cell (RBC) cryopreservation efficiency by metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), a dimensional reduction approach has been proposed. Namely, 3D MOF nanoparticles are progressively reduced to 2D ultra-thin metal-organic layers (MOLs).
