Abstract:Using di-2-furanylethanedione and 5-bromo-3-methylbenzene-1,2-diamine we prepared a monomeric [MoO2(SL)] with a Schiff base, as well as 4 different compounds using the formulation [MoO2(MSL). We investigate how [MoO2(SL)] reacts with 1,3-diketones. Several characterizations are discussed in this article, including molar conductance measurement, elemental analysis, UV-Vis, IR, NMR, and thermal measurements. Molybdenum has a six-coordination number. All five MoO2(VI) compounds have distorted octahedral arrangeme… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
