Direct Arm Energy Control in Modular Multilevel Converter Under Unbalanced Grid Conditions

Abstract: This paper studies the behaviour of the gridconnected modular multilevel converter under unbalanced grid conditions in terms of the energy imbalances within the converter, and proposes a novel approach for dealing with imbalances.
